Position overview

As a Product Designer at Ossmo, you’ll be at the forefront of creating digital products that make a meaningful impact. This isn’t just about making things look good—it’s about solving complex problems in a way that delights and empowers our users.
You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to bring your innovative ideas to life, ensuring our platform remains intuitive, impactful, and user centered.
At Ossmo, we believe that the best designs come from staying deeply connected to the problems we’re solving. Your role will be pivotal in not only shaping the future of our products but also in influencing the overall strategy of the company.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate Cross Functionally: Work with a diverse team to design and evolve our digital products, ensuring they meet both business objectives and user needs.
• Innovative Research: Comprehensive design research using innovative methods to gain insights into user needs, motivations, and behaviors.
• User-Centric Design: Create seamless, user-friendly designs that enhance the overall experience of our platform.
• Design System: Develop and maintain our design system in Figma to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
• Prototype & Test: Quickly turn ideas into prototypes, gather feedback and iterate.
• Continuous Learning: Stay at the cutting edge of design trends and tools, sharing your knowledge to help the team grow.
• Strategy & Vision: Involved in product strategy through product discovery. Defining and evolving the product vision.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing consumer-grade applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Ability to conduct advanced design research beyond traditional methods such as interviews and observations. Using new fields of knowledge utilizing the “Innovators Gift”.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to acquire new skills and adapt to evolving challenges.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment, contributing to collaborative and innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• A bias towards action, with a proactive approach to learning and applying new knowledge.
• Passion for staying at the forefront of design trends and continuously sharpening your skills.
